Account & Data Deletion

App: NumGeek: SumFind Chronicles · Last updated: April 19, 2026

This page explains how to permanently delete your NumGeek account and all associated personal data. We honour your right to erasure under Article 17 of the GDPR.

Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your game progress, leaderboard ranking, and the record of any in-app purchases linked to your account cannot be restored. In-app purchases remain valid on your Google account and can be restored if you create a new NumGeek account on the same device.

1. How to request deletion

You can request deletion in two ways:

Option A — From within the app (recommended)

1 Open the NumGeek app and sign in to your account.

2 Tap the gear icon (Settings) on the home screen.

3 Scroll to the Account section.

4 Tap Delete my account.

5 Confirm by typing the word DELETE when prompted.

Your account and data will be deleted within a few seconds. The app will sign you out automatically.

Option B — By email

Send an email to privacy@numgeek.com from the email address registered to your NumGeek account, with the subject line "Delete my account".

You will receive a confirmation reply within 72 hours, and your data will be deleted within 30 days of confirmation, in line with Art. 12(3) GDPR.

3. What is retained, and why

Some information has to be retained for a defined period because it is required by law or essential for fraud and tax compliance.

Data retainedWhyRetention period
In-app purchase transaction records (purchase identifier, amount, date — held by Google Play and accessible to us only in aggregate) Polish and EU tax and accounting law 5 calendar years from the end of the year of the transaction
Anonymised server logs (IP address, request timestamps) Security, abuse mitigation, infrastructure debugging Up to 30 days; then automatically purged by Google Cloud Logging

After the retention periods listed above expire, the corresponding records are deleted or fully anonymised. We do not retain personal data beyond what is strictly necessary.

4. Your in-app purchases

Purchases made through Google Play Billing are tied to your Google account, not to your NumGeek account. Deleting your NumGeek account does not request a refund and does not cancel your purchases.

If you create a new NumGeek account on the same Google account in the future, you can use the Restore purchases link in the Settings screen to re-grant your previously purchased entitlements (such as "Remove Ads" or unlocked level packs).

For refunds, please contact Google Play Support directly: Refund a Google Play Store purchase .

5. Children's accounts

The NumGeek app is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a child under that age has created a NumGeek account without your consent, please email privacy@numgeek.com. We will delete the account and associated data without delay.
